Today, you don’t have to be a princess or a multi millionaire to be able to dress up nicely. Every product you research should have a label. It is not always the gospel truth but make sure you examine it carefully. It should declare what ingredients and their proportions are contained in the product. If you not sure of anything, ask for help. The rule is, if you do not know what it is, do not use it. This is an uphill battle, but we are in it, on it and at it. We have books that deal and describe our culture written as early as the 1800, from which we can cull whatever we need for the 21 century, and make them suit the aims and goals of our communitiesI have cited a few above. We are writing original articles such as this one to slowly bring to the forefront the importance and greatness of African cultures in South Africa. Apart from good personal hygiene the most effective treatment for forehead lines and any line for that matter is to drink plenty of water to keep your skin moist from the inside. Increase the possibility of reducing those lines or getting rid of them completely by applying a cream, which has natural goodness such as honey and oils that soften and soothe the skin giving it a velvet like feel. You must choose the color that blends well with your skin tone. You can discuss your choice of color with your bride to make sure that it matches the color of her wedding gown. The most popular colors are white, gray and black for a man’s suit. Pants are currently gaining its popularity nowadays, even women and children are using denim pants. However, determining the types of cuts of jeans will help you on choosing the right type of denims. There are five cuts of jeans, these includes straight leg, boot cut, classic cut, flared and skinny leg. As can be seen in the presentation about African South African Art above, the same goes for sports. During Apartheid Africans were involved in their own sports and participated actively, and gave of their talents, freely, and to the entertainment of the oppressed masses. Unlike today, mass participation in ports is limited to certain sorting codes and plus one need to take into consideration the corruption that iis presently taking place in our country. Sports is dead amongst Africans as it used to exist. Boxing, Cricket, Tennis, , Chess clubs, well jaz clubs have evolved today; children were involved in all facets of sports; adults were taking care to promote junior leagues, in soccer, tennis tournaments; there were famous boxing stables; YMCA’s full of youth and activities; and so on, and soon. A bit below in the Hub I will be dealing with soccer and soccer players during Apartheid.

“It is difficult to kill the African heritage. There remains, in spite of the superficial cultural similarities between the ‘detrabilzed’ and the Westerner, a number of cultural characteristics that mark out the detribalized as an African. I am not here making a case for separation on the basis of cultural differences. I am sufficiently proud to believe that under a normal situation, africans can comfortably stay with people of other cultures and be able to contribute to the joint cultures of the communities they have joined. Through no short means the contributions by an entire race to the history and popular culture of America have been ignored, covered up, and obscured. The African American race has not only had their accomplishments taken away but have been reduced to simply that, a race, a pseudo-scientific category and nothing more. This has led to a ideological split in an already subjugated people, one that through the efforts of talented men and women has been brought now to a national stage of discussion. Beauty skin care products that are chemical based are filled with chemicals that are harmful to the skin. It does give back results very fast, but the fact is that at later stages, it will cause other skin disorders. You skin starts showing signs of ageing like appearance of wrinkles, sagging etc when the collagen and elastin levels get depleted. You should take care in not using products that contain collagen in it because collagen cannot be taken into the body through the skin. It’s not every day your very early alarm clock is an interview with an Oscar-winning actress whose career has spanned three entire decades, (basically my whole life) after breaking through in the 1980s at 22-years-old with the TV show Bangkok Hilton and the movie Dead Calm. Nicole has since nailed every single genre going, from musicals , namely the aforementioned Moulin Rouge!, to superheroes films Aquaman and Batman Returns, and deep dramas including The Hours, Lion and Bombshell, to TV hits Big Little Lies and most recently, The Undoing (more on that later). In further proof that the 53-year-old has literally done it ALL, Nicole has even featured on her own No.1 single, Somethin’ Stupid opposite Robbie Williams – and it’s still a bop. Lest we forget. It is common to see some women who will cling to the products that they always use. It is maybe because they are effective even if they need to reuse the products once every six months. They might not also be aware if the ones that they are using are composed of chemical substances, which could be harmful to their skin. Maybe they are happy with the temporary result and are not bothered to take a second look to check for chemicals.

The Sharpeville Massacre was one of the most important turning points in the history of South Africa. It triggered a chain of events, from the banning of liberation organizations, the launch of the armed struggle, the internationalization of the South Africa’s Apartheid policies and the growing division between black and white South Africans. “In fact, in the traditional African culture, there is no such things as two friends. Conversation groups were more or less naturally determined by age and division of labor. Thus one would find all boys whose job was to look after cattle periodically meeting at popular spots to engage in conversation about their cattle, girlfriends, parents, heroes, etc. The emergence and growth of sites and service schemes marked the end of squatter movements. By 1947 squatter movements had run their course and the country’s attention was drawn to the upcoming general elections in 1948. The election was contested on a number of issues, including the most desirable measures to be adopted to stem the tide of urban migration by black people. The Nationalist Party (NP) under D. F. Malan promised to bring back influx control regulations, and to tighten them and restrict the number of black people entering the urban areas. The NP emerged victorious in the elections and formed a government based on the principle of apartheid. The Nayar of Kerala India have amazing systems of many aspects involved with culture. Being a warrior caste has created some interesting and unique practices among these communities. Agriculturally based and for the most part fairly stable and equal, economically and financially speaking, not to mention holding its women in high regard with them maintaining ownership of property and dissention rights the Nayar have certainly proved worthy of further discussion. In an area abundant with modern fanatical religion in many varieties, somehow the Nayar manage to hold on to their ancestral magic and medicine men of old time superstition. For fathers to claim no rights to their wives and children, yet desire to do so, for mothers to claim all rights to children and appear to have little desire to claim a monogamous husband, the Nayar would be challenged to attempt to be any less traditional. From all areas discussed in this overview, beliefs and values, gender relations, economy, kinship and social organization, there is still so much left untold. This society will continue to remain the subject of intrigue and debate for generations to come as it has in preceding generations.

In case you aren’t already hanging off your sofa every Monday night on Sky Atlantic – Nicole’s latest intense AF thriller The Undoing follows Grace, a New York-based psychiatrist whose life is turned upside down when her doctor husband, Jonathan played by Hugh Grant , goes on the run as a body is discovered in the local neighbourhood. It’s got more twists and turns than the big dipper and to say it’s anxiety-inducing is an understatement as so many personal traumas come to the fore. Distinctive differences in language, in sentence construction and meanings, also teaches one that to hold on to ones’ class prejudices against them or that would be the fatal denial of ones political stance. It also teaches one that to actually overcome ones negative aspects, which requires change in the material basis of society, and it means that the working class must assume their role as subject in the effort to revive the expressions of their culture (Fromm). Fromm says that we need to learn to have an attitude, to practice virtue, not only from a political standpoint, but also existentially: tolerance (Fromm). Understanding this definition above regarding culture, will only help us understand the hub and its contents below much more better and clearer, but the lessons of tolerance are embedded within that culture or cultures. But, if you study the speech and phonetic of the these two, there is not so much of a difference, as it is a regional degradation and variation of language. It seems therefore that between 100 and 1500 there were agricultural settlements on the Transvaal low veld that traded among themselves and exchanged their craft productsthere is evidence of trade of these low veld people with the people of East Africa-(this will take another Hub). “Our culture must be defined in concrete terms. we must relate the past to the present and demonstrate a historical evolution of modern Black man. There is a tendency to think our culture as a static culture that was arrested in 1652 and has never developed since. The “return to the bush” concept suggests that we have nothing to boast of except lions, sex and drink. Jennifer is a Type 2. She has a definite oval-shaped face & hairline with soft, gently curved facial lines and blended, even skin tone. She has an elongated nose and even her nostrils are oval shaped. The S-curve shape is common to Type 2s and you can draw a soft one from her eyebrow to her inner eye, down her nose, around her mouth and under her chin. She has long, half oval-shaped eyebrows (not pointy) and almond shaped eyes with a heavier eyelid giving her a dreamy look. She carries herself with grace, is easy-going, caring and connected to the people around her.
