Clothing can be divided into many kinds. In Kerala of southwest India lives an indigenous people, called the Nayar. They are known for having a highly complex and intriguing culture. The Nayar are a warrior caste who follow matrilineal dissention and are said to practice polygyny. (Nowak & Laird, 2010) Their villages are primarily sustained thru agriculture and display little significant difference between wealthy and poor families socially or economically. This society is unparalleled in many cultural aspects by any other culture even within India. Their traditions, beliefs and customs have been the subject of much debate and fascination among scholars and authorities for generations. As was the dress of the day in America of the time, so were my ancestors on the wall dressed in garb that made one pause: Who are these folks?-What were they and why did they have such fine clothes? I am not from a rich family by any stretch, but seriously… these pictures was from where I cut my teeth in having positive images of my own people, and seeing their wear as positive, which was what was the fad in our past and present enclaves and milieus. I am not really writing much because the sad fact our people do not want to read. I blog now mostly my ideas, because here on FB, people are not really interested in reading, in many timelines I am onto. Now mens shoes on women may not be quite at that scale, but since the majority of male targeted shoes are quite a unisex style then there is no problem with women wearing them. The government would later try a new tack, organizing an annual match between black and white players. The plan, however, backfired: It merely emphasized the inequitable and racist nature of the country’s political system. The matches did, however, succeed in undermining the apartheid regime in crucial ways. In 1976, the government allowed a mixed-race team to play against a visiting Argentine squad in Johannesburg. Black and white South Africans lined up together on the pitch, though the stands were still segregated. The home team won 5-0, including a hat trick for a then unknown black player named Jomo Sono. When he scored against Argentina, his teammates, black and white, did what teammates have always done: hugged and shook hands. This feel-good victory was overshadowed only a few weeks later, however, when approximately 500 black South Africans were killed in the Soweto uprising – including Ariel Kgongoane, a prominent player for the Kaizer Chiefs. If this movement is barred from its natural road of advance and deprived of its liberty of thought, expression and action, it will become a menace to the security of the white race, and a brake in the wheels of the country’s progress.” Although political and intellectual adversaries at the time of the writing of these statements, both Pixley ka Isaka Seme and R. V. Selope Thema were in unison in theorizing that a New African Movement had come into being forging a dialetical unity of agency and structure, thought and life, theory and practice in the making of New African modernity.

They are worse, the ANC, because it is people like us: Africans. I have written a length about this motley crew of cabals that dominate the ANC, and the ‘Corruption Debate’?! above, is more like watching the ANC spokesman’s mealy mouthing his way out of the shenanigans of the ANC, lying, obfuscating, distorting and seamlessly trying to present the ANC as a viable Government Other Tape on Apartheid, is covering Apartheid from the 1950s just to get a flavor of what do we means by Apartheid. “Regardless of our understanding of the diverse ways in which European system of education typically failed African people, Africans continue to be dependent on the European approach; an approach that carries no high expectations of us. In fact, the european system is based largely on assumptions that we lack the intellectual and cultural capacity for high levels of achievement. Actually, Western education for the masses carries no high values and aims for anyone. European, African or others; not even excellence in basic skills. We are not worse-off than other Africans in Africa or the Diaspora. It is important to all of us in these geographic regions write to and for each other, our stories, experiences, realities, and compare notes. We are the same, and that is it. What we see today in Mzantsi, is nothing new, but has been an ongoing thing from let’s say, the 1930s. We, as an oppressed people, needed something that told and showed us that we are better than backward or very tribal and backward. Just because Whites are racist that does not give me the go ahead to be like them. I will not be like Whites nor all the Africans who behave like White(Whether Uncle Toms of African demagogic ideologues). My philosophy and belief and culture is centered around and embedded within the concept of “Ubuntu” (Which I interpreted as the act of being and seeing others as Human beings. I am instructed by Sobukwe’s belief that we all belong to the Human race(although there are those who live contrary to this mantra). Sexism has naturally had a part to play in the script of Nicole’s life. For someone who was integral to the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements, encouraging Hollywood to wear black to the Golden Globes in 2018 in a protest against its inequalities and abuses, I wonder: from that moment when she zipped up that black Givenchy dress, how far do she think we have come? Oh, my gosh,” Nicole exhales. I think it’s still work in progress, but I’ve worked with some of the greatest. When you watch Meryl Streep ‘s career – she’s become a very good friend of mine – and what she’s managed to do… I really use her as a beacon as she’s always saying there’s still so much work to be done. And there is.

Goal speaks to two of the most respected defenders in South African football in Shakes Mashaba and Neil Tovey about how great Jomo was as a player. Women’s shoes were once made more like a pair of boots. These items buttoned up the sides and in order to fasten those buttons you needed to have a specialized tool. It was all the rage among the fashion industry for ladies to wear these items, and luckily these items have never returned to style after they were no longer fashionable to wear. “Dominant groups, in seeking to achieve or maintain their power over subordinate groups, are for this reason compelled in some ways to constrain, restrict, reduce, destabilize, misdirect, or destroy the family systems, and with those, the communal and cultural systems of the group they subordinateI have touched on this issue above. The oppression, distortion and destabilization of the African Family by the Domineering Whites which goes along with the enslavement of Africans and continues to this day. Clothes are a way that people can create an image and a persona around themselves a true form of self-expression that carries into the everyday world. Ready-to-wear clothes are a cross between haute couture and mass market. The mass market caters for a wide range of customers, producing ready-to-wear clothes in large quantities and standard sizes. The smaller and the more specific the market, the more likely a company is to get the right look and feel to their clothes. If the firm has made a name for the clothes it already produces, this helps to sell the new line. A man does wear jewelry and jewelry can be common mens fashion accessories. You’ll see plenty of dudes wearing necklaces, rings and earrings. Though these high fashion items are often a little bit heavier and more bulky than similar womens jewelry items. Peaches are highly emollient and perfect for dry skin types. Mash a fresh peach and combine with a tablespoon of plain yogurt to make a smooth paste. Apply on the skin and leave it on for 20 mins and then rinse off with warm water. Your skin will feel moisturized and supple to the touch. I should point out that this is not working, and it is exacerbating the reality we see today that is lived by the Africans under the ANC, and of course, the murders of White Farmers, which I think should be stopped and a unification of South Africa should by now on its way towards becoming a reality. But at the moment, before we can deal or talk about other people or ethnic groups, we need to put our case and house tightly together.

This is a culture that is suited for technology for it brings vibrancy color, sounds, and various and the same languages, cultural dress bright colors, different styles, and of course, I like the fact that it has shown the knack to adjust to modern times and change in look, form and aesthetics-to all its people here in Mzantsi. This widely held belief in Korean and Japanese culture started in the 1920s, and although it is a myth that has been debunked several times since then, it has persisted in its popularity over the years. The Korean theory of blood type and personality can best be compared to the way westerners view zodiac signs. Just as your zodiac sign influences your personality and predicts certain things about your life, so does your blood type in Korea or in Japan. It is not considered to be as far reaching as the zodiac sign, as it really just a commentary on your personality but, there are many books about what the best job is for each blood type, and how different blood types react in different situations and even about how romance works between the blood types and who is the best match for each type. The birth place of indigenous art is, ingrained within the spirit of the indigenous artist, it is passed on to them to preserve the culture and traditions of their society. They usually work in a cohesive collaborative group. The narratives and inspiration of the work comes from their, ancestors, oral traditions, family and other members of the family. Indigenous art, it awakens peoples consciousness and brings them closer to their origins. Comments from gallery visitors: emotive, powerful and spiritual. Jane M. Bachnik also spoke of Japanese society and argued that it seemed in Japan that the organisation of self was fundamentally linked to the social context. In Japanese society the self is defined through interaction and relationship with others. It is though stated by that ‘people interacting in context do not reflect” a world already created, but participate in the ongoing dynamic of a social world literally constituted in action’ (Bachnik. 1994; 23). The two ideas of individual and society work in conjunction with each other to create the perceptions, and these factions are constantly changing; ‘social participants both structure and are structured by their social context’ (Bachnik. 1994; 17). Both society and the self need to support each other to create a fully functioning world in which persons can exist. Both Japanese studies concur that hierarchy and society has to be understood to place importance on the system in which people exist as playing an integral part in defining them.

The terms “Natural” and “Organic” seem to be spreading like wildfire across the store shelves nationwide, creating a lot of confusion about what it really means to be an organic skin product. The quote above at the start of this Hub states that : “To Ask a people to replace […]
